Know Before You Train

What is a Certified Food Protection Manager Certification?

A Certified Food Protection Manager Certification is a credential that shows a food service manager has successfully completed a nationally accredited food safety program and passed a state-approved exam. In Nassau County, New York, this certification ensures proper food handling, safety, and compliance with local and state health regulations.

This certification is obtained by passing a food protection manager exam accredited by the American National Standards Institute and the Conference for Food Protection. It is valid for five years, demonstrating that managers are equipped to maintain safe and compliant operations.

Under California law, every food facility must maintain at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on-site or on record to meet both state and local health requirements. The certification remains valid for five years and may be renewed by completing a refresher exam through an ANAB-accredited program.

Who Needs a Food Manager Certification Nassau County?

Remove the completed module pop up that pops up right on top of the Next Module link. Enable auto play when clicking the Next module button. Sometimes we miss something, and we need to rewind a bit. The only way to go back is to watch the whole module.
