Serving safe food will increase productivity will in turn increase workplace satisfaction.
Georgia Food Safety Certification ensures that food managers and employees are trained in proper food handling, hygiene, and prevention of foodborne illness. Managers must hold a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification through an ANAB Accredited Program recognized by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

Food handlers play a critical role in keeping the public safe, and Georgia employers rely on trained staff to maintain high food safety standards. Completing a food handler course shows prospective employers that you understand proper food handling practices, making you a more attractive candidate for hire.
Beyond employment advantages, food handler training helps prevent foodborne illnesses that affect customers. For instance, CDC data indicate that the majority of norovirus outbreaks are caused by food workers who come to work while sick. In Georgia, there were 21 reported foodborne outbreaks in 2017. By applying the skills learned in training, you contribute to safer dining experiences and help reduce these numbers in your community.

In Georgia, any food service establishment that handles potentially hazardous foods must have at least one supervisory employee who is a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), as outlined in Georgia Food Service Rules 511-6-1-.03(3).
A CFPM can only oversee one establishment at a time and does not need to be on-site at all hours, provided another trained person is designated to be in charge during their absence.
To become a CFPM, you must complete a Georgia Department of Public Health-approved training program and pass an exam accredited by a recognized organization like ANSI-CFP. AAA Food Handler is one of the approved providers that offer both the training and certification.
Because local jurisdictions may have additional requirements, it’s always a good idea to verify with your local health department before starting work.

I finished it all in a day! took my notes and passed the test. Highly recommend.
It easy to understand the each lesson
Easy to follow. Clear directions. Direct information. Short, easy to follow modules
was properly explained and questions were properly worded. explained a lot of important information as well as refreshing my memory on other things 10/10
self paced
I would recommend this training.
It was just what I needed.
Amazing demonstrations and explanations helped me pass this course, would recommend!
This course was very informative and thorough. This course covered everything I would need to succeed in my career. The information was clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend!
The training was good, but I would have liked more emphasis on what the exam would cover for my notes.
The information presented was all great and important. I learned a lot and will be using much of this information in the future.
I did take issue with one of the chemical hazards presented– MSG. No other chemical– like trans-fats or salt– was included as a danger. MSG was singled out as being the sole food chemical hazard. MSG has been used as a racist boogeyman for decades and the symptoms described by this tutorial have been shown to be false. MSG is in countless foods like tomatoes and parmesan cheese, but it is always tied to Chinese food. As an Asian American I was disappointed to see this racist trope used as an example when the original article from the 1960s “Chinese food Syndrome” has been debunked. I would highly encourage the producers of this course to remove it from the chemical hazards portion and educate themselves on the history of this misleading racist stereotype.
it was informative
Very easy to follow
great company easy to work with
Very helpful.
Its pretty good and easy, but the computer voice for the videos is kind of weird
The course was very straight forward. Easy to understand and didn’t take too long to complete. Highly recommended for anyone needing their Texas Food Handler card.

Was informative. There was a few things that I need to lookup from other sources to get clearer understanding. Other than that, it was good.
The course was a better deal than most. Ease of purchasing, reasonable pricing, plus package deal which includes free retest and practice tests… this makes it worth it. As for the content itself, it felt a little AI-generated and wooden. Very cut-and-dried… gets the job done, but if you are wanting a more in-depth personable experience, and have the time, I would recommend an in-person course taught by a human instructor.
The course was really informative and its all need to know info
very good detail in what they were teaching
excelent material
This course was informative. I don’t understand why it is required for cottage law in IL, since it doesn’t cover cottage foods, but for restaurants, it is good.
I enjoyed the ease of the training and being able to replay the videos. One take away is the settings not being saved – example: turned on captions but for each video I needed to turn them back on.
It was very thorough and gave me all the information I needed. I would 100% recommend this course for anyone looking for the manager position in the food industry.
I like that I can go at my own pace. It’s very long but doable. Haven’t taken the test yet so I’m not sure how much I retained. Will soon find out. There was one question about Trichinella Parasites that came up in section 2 review that wasn’t discussed until section 3 about parasites so I got that wrong. That should be corrected.
It is okay, could have been more interactive visually.
While going through I was able to follow along, rewind as needed, and understand everything with ease. This course is very simple and preferable for those who have a busy life. I appreciate being able to stop or start the courses themselves whenever I please.
Very nice course. Thank you
I think the trading course is full of Correct information and explains in an easy way to understand
A lot of good information. I definitely knew more leaving then when I started the training. I only had issues with one module. The facilities module had no sound.
I felt the sessions were logical presented and contained all information needed,
