Know Before You Train
A Kern County Food Manager Certification is an official certification that verifies a professional has successfully completed an ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) Accredited program and passed a recognized food safety exam. It ensures the manager can enforce safe food practices per Kern County Environmental Health regulations.
Any establishment in Kern County that prepares, serves, or handles non-prepackaged food, including restaurants, cafés, school kitchens, and food trucks, must designate at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on-site.
AAA Food Handler provides online, on-demand training aligned with Kern County and California Health Code requirements. After completing the interactive course, managers take an ANAB-CFP-accredited exam through online proctoring to earn their CFPM certification.
Per Kern County Environmental Health Division and California Health & Safety Code §113947, at least one certified manager must be assigned to oversee the handling of potentially hazardous foods. Temporary food service providers are not required to hold certification.
Certified managers actively prevent contamination, maintain operational efficiency, and strengthen credibility with inspectors and customers. Studies show that skilled food managers dramatically reduce outbreaks caused by Salmonella, Norovirus, and other pathogens.

THIS IS MY 2ND TIME USING THIS COMPANY AND I WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND AND RETURN. SO EASY, INFO IS TO THE POINT AND ONLY WHAT IS NECESSARY.
easy to understand well organize information but would be better if there is more of test or interactive game or characters to help memorization.
Remove the completed module pop up that pops up right on top of the Next Module link. Enable auto play when clicking the Next module button. Sometimes we miss something, and we need to rewind a bit. The only way to go back is to watch the whole module.
It was a well put together course. Very informative and I believe I’ve learned a lot.
I took CDM and CFPP courses years ago while working in a hospital, this was a perfect refresher course.
This course was extremely concise, descriptive, and easy to navigate through. It was far more entertaining than merely reading a training manual because it constantly kept me engaged through interactive segments, including the section reviews. I would recommend this course to those wanting to become food managers at their respective food establishments.
