Passing an ANAB accredited Food Protection Manager Certification exam ensures that someone with supervisory authority can oversee compliance with Utah food safety codes.

In Utah, the food manager certification is valid for five years. Managers must retake and pass the accredited exam every three years to maintain compliance with Utah food safety regulations.

The AAA Food Handler allergen program focuses on the nine major allergens identified by the FDA. It prepares Utah food workers to prevent cross-contact, recognize symptoms of allergic reactions, and apply safe practices that align with Utah food safety rules.
