Responsible Use and Conduct
By visiting our website and accessing the information, resources, services, products, and tools we provide for you, either directly or indirectly (hereafter referred to as ‘Resources’), you agree to use these Resources only for the purposes intended as permitted by (a) the terms of this User Agreement, and (b) applicable laws, regulations and generally accepted online practices or guidelines.

Program Access
Our programs are delivered via online using an internet connection. Candidates may purchase by registering online via our secured website: www.1aaafoodhandler.com
Payment Use
All individuals who make purchases on our website declare that they are legally authorized to make the payment either by credit card or other means available. AAA Trainers Corporation accepts no liability for any misuse or damages resulting from fraudulent or malicious activities.
Pricing
Pricing will change with market conditions and marketing efforts.
Food Handlers:
Currently the price for a single food handler online course + assessment is $6.95. Group pricing is not set as of this moment. Most up to date pricing will be advertised on the website.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Refunds and cancellations are at the sole discretion of AAA Trainers Corporation. Approved refunds or cancellations will be processed within 5 – 7 days of request if these conditions are met:
Refund request is made within 30 days of purchase
The course was not started
The final assessment was not completed
No Certificate was issued
The participant did not violate the Participant Guidelines
Reassignment Policy
The user license may be reassigned at no charge if the originally assigned user has not started the online training.
General Policy
Users need to complete the online course within 6 months of assigned license or purchase date. We reserve the right to change prices and policies.
Retake Policy
Food Handlers:
Users will need to score 70% or higher on the final assessment to receive their food handler certificate. A unique food handler can be downloaded or emailed to the user. If a user does not score at least 70%, then the user will have 1 opportunity to take the exam again. The course is optional to retake. Only 1 retake will be allowed before having to take the food handler course in its entirety again.
Returned Checks
A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks.
Terms of use
This online program shall be used only by the assigned user for the purpose of education, compliance training, and certification as specified by the client. Client agrees not to reverse engineer this course or create a similar product for sale.
Complaints Protocol
Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience with our training course, certification exam, or for any reason. If any participants have a complaint of any kind, it is the policy of 1 AAA Food Handler to resolve any matter between the complainant and the company. If any personnel are the subject or source of a complaint or an appeal, then that person(s) will not be involved with resolution or decision. Details of this complaints protocol are published on the website.
The complaints protocol is as follows:

- All complaints must be made in writing. Participants can email their complaint to info@1aaafoodhandler.com

- All written complaints will be reviewed by a staff member in charge of customer service. The staff member has the authority to solve the matter or can bring it up to his/her supervisor if needed.

- All complaints will be followed up with an attempt for a resolution within 3 business days. All follow-ups will be in writing and to the email received.

- If the resolution is acceptable and/or the complainant does not respond within 7 business days, no further action will be done.

- If the resolution is not acceptable, then the complainant can proceed with an appeal.
Appeals
The appeals resolution procedure will be followed as such:

- All appeals must be made in writing. Participants can email their appeal to info@1aaafoodhandler.com

- All appeals will be reviewed by Management and a decision will be made within 7 days.

- A response will be made within 7 days of the written appeal to the email received.
Training Disclaimer
This training is intended for education and training purposes to assist employers, managers, employees, and others to achieve a better and safer workplace environment.
While we attempt to thoroughly address specific topics, it is not possible to include all topics necessary to ensure a healthy and safe working environment. Thus, this training should be utilized as a tool to learn and review compliance topics. Additionally, over time, regulators may modify rules and interpretations as a result of new information or circumstances.

AAA Trainers Corporation will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary loss or damages which may be incurred by you as a result of using our Resources, or as a result of any changes, data loss or corruption, cancellation, loss of access, or downtime to the full extent that applicable limitation of liability laws apply.

Ownership of Mark and Logo
1 AAA Food Handler owns and reserves all rights to the logo and its brand. Permission must be granted in advance for any use.
Use of the 1 AAA Food Handler certificate, marks and logos are limited to those persons who have been granted the certificate by 1 AAA Food Handler, Pro. Use of the mark and logo by individuals who have not been granted the certificate is expressly prohibited.
Non-Assignability and Non-Transferability
Only the certificate holder has permission to use the certificate mark. Other persons who wish to use the certificate mark and logo must get permission from 1 AAA Food Handler and will use it following the guidelines established by 1 AAA Food Handler.
The certificate mark and logo:
Cannot be assigned to other individuals
Cannot be transferred to other individuals
Cannot be revised, changed, or altered
Cannot be used if it brings 1 AAA Food Handler into a dispute or is misleading in any way
Cannot be used as an endorsement or sponsorship
Cannot be used in any manner which would tend to imply a connection between any business and the certificate which, in fact, may not exist
Those persons who have been granted permission to use the certificate mark and logo shall do so pursuant to the rules and guidelines established by 1 AAA Food Handlers. Persons granted permission to use the certificate mark and logo must familiarize themselves with the established rules and guidelines for use and must execute approved agreements setting forth such rules and guidelines for use.
The mark or logo must be displayed in the same form as produced by 1 AAA Food Handlers and cannot be reproduced unless such reproduction is identical to the mark provided by 1 AAA Food Handlers.
Termination of Use
You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of our website and Resources with or without notice and for any reason, including, without limitation, breach of this User Agreement. Any suspected illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity may be grounds for terminating your relationship and may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Upon suspension or termination, your right to use the Resources we provide will immediately cease, and we reserve the right to remove or delete any information that you may have on file with us, including any account or login information.
Governing Law
This website is controlled by AAA Trainers Corporation from our offices located in the state of Texas, U.S.A. It can be accessed by most countries around the world. As each country has laws that may differ from those of California, by accessing our website, you agree that the statutes and laws of California, without regard to the conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of this website and the purchase of any products or services through this site.
Furthermore, any action to enforce this User Agreement shall be brought in the federal or state courts located in California, U.S.A. You hereby agree to personal jurisdiction by such courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.

We will make all reasonable accommodations for training and testing provided at no cost to candidates with special medical needs covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act . All those who request must submit provide in writing, their needs, along with appropriate medical documentation. Exam
Food Handlers:
A 40-question multiple choice exam will be given at the end of training. Examinees will be provided their score upon completion of the food handler exam. If the examinee passed, a certificate will be emailed to them and a copy will be on their “Certificates” tab on their dashboard.

- Individuals agree that the certificate will not be changed, doctored, edited, or transferred in anyway. Any of these activities may invalidate the certificate immediately.

- The examinations and the questions contained therein are the exclusive property of 1 AAA Food Handler and are protected by federal copyright law. No part of the examination(s) may be copied, reproduced in part or whole by any means whatsoever, including memorization.

- Individual participation in any irregularity occurring during the examination, such as giving or obtaining unauthorized information or aid, as evidenced by an observation or subsequent statistical analysis, may be sufficient cause to invalidate the results of the examination or the certificate issued, or other appropriate remedy.

- Individuals verify that they have successfully met the program requirements. If at any time it is confirmed an individual has not met all the requirements, individuals will no longer be eligible for the certificate, or will have their current certificate invalidated.

- Individuals verify that they solely are responsible for the answers provided on the test(s) and that they were not provided assistance by other individuals.

- All communications regarding this certificate will not be to assume certificate holders are licensed or certified. Therefore, it is not appropriate to use any abbreviations following the individual’s name to denote your earned certificate.
Certificate Delivery
Upon passing assessment, the participant will be able to receive the certificate by downloading it from the assessment platform or by an email with the certificate as an attachment.
Certificate Information
The certificate of completion includes the student’s full name, the date of completion, and a unique verification that is specific to the student is an additional control which acts as a deterrent for another student to alter the certificate for unethical reproduction.
Invalidating a Certificate
If a participant violates the terms and conditions statement and/or is found to have been involved in unethical activities or falsifying information, then the participant’s certificate will be invalidated. If we need to invalidate a certificate, we will send a correspondence to the individual who violated the Participant Guidelines. The letter would state that there is evidence that they have violated a security standard and that their certificate will be invalidated. This correspondence would also give them an opportunity to explain or appeal our decision. If appropriate, we would ask for the certificate to be returned. The online eLearning platform has proper system controls to ensure that all requirements have been met before the electronic
certificate is generated.
Storage
All certificates, exam score, names, customer data, and results will be maintained on a secured server of the hosting company that contracts with 1 AAA Food Handler. It shall have appropriate backup and secured access by 1 AAA Food Handler. All information shall follow the protocols of 1 AAA Food Handler’s Disaster Recovery Plan.
Validating a Certificate
An email can be sent to 1 AAA Food Handler regarding the validity of a person’s certificate. The person’s name and certificate number will be asked and an answer will be emailed back with either: YES-Valid or No-Invalid. An answer will be sent within 48 hours.

This food handlers training program is to train, measure, and instill knowledge to individuals who are seeking to work in an establishment that serves food to the public.
What is the scope of this training program?
This Certificate Program outlines 1 AAA Food Handler’s food handler system, policies and procedures carried out in conformance with ASTM E2659-18 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs for the Food Handler Training Certificate Program.
What is this training program’s target audience?
This training program targets food handlers as defined in the California Retail Food Code, section 113790, which states, “Food handler means an individual who is involved in the preparation, storage, or service of food in a food facility…”
What laws and mandates guide these programs?
Food Handlers:
This program follows the guidance and authority of California’s Senate Bill 303. This program will use California’s mandated food handler program as a template for training and assessment for offerings in other states and locations. There are many states, counties, cities that require the food handler training and certificate.
What are the intended learning outcomes of this training program?
Food Handler:
This training program provides at a minimum, the intended learning outcomes set by the California Retail Food Code, section 113947.2, subsections a, b, c, d, e, g:

What are the requisites to complete this program?
Any individual of lawful age may take this program by purchasing a license from this website. Upon receiving course details in an email, the participant will have to complete approximately 1.5 hours of interactive food handler training. A 40-question multiple choice final assessment will have to be taken. A score of 70% or better will provide that participant a Food Handler Certificate via email or by download. The Food Handler Certificate has a unique certificate number and is non-transferable. The certificate is valid for 3 years after date of issue.
What are the qualifications of the curriculum and exam developers?
1 AAA Food Handlers has over 35 years of experience in training and developing training in the food safety industry. Along with the training developers are a team of advisors who help guide and approval of the current food handler training program and the food manager certification. They are a collection of professionals called the Advisory Team who are made up of experienced industry professionals to represent the primary stakeholders of the program along with being subject matter experts. Members of the Advisory Team represent one or more of the following focused areas: academia, education, regulatory, commercial retail food establishment inspection, food safety training, restaurant management, food handler.
