New Law: Employer Responsibility for Food Handler Training Costs
For years, existing California law required food employees to obtain and pay for their own food handler card training. However, with the passage of Senate Bill 476 (SB 476), the financial responsibility is now shifting to employers.

The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. You must score at least 70% to pass. You have two attempts to pass the test.
New food handlers have up to 30 days from their hire date to obtain a food handler card. After this period, working without one is not permitted.

to every one out there who is thinking about going for their food licensing but is afraid that it is too hard just put your mind at ease it is just common sense awash your hands before and after everything u do . I will be following all food and safety guideline and to ensure that my staff and i do the right thing.
Over-all good job
The random quizzes can be confusing because they ask questions that have not be cover at the point of the quiz. So, you end up guessing on some of the quiz questions then learning the answers after you resume the course. Someone needs to proofread the course to correct these. Also, I think you should be able to print the course out so it can be studied like a workbook.
I found that the course was in depth and informative. it has prepared me to be aware and conscious of the actions of myself and staff to protect the health of our customers.
