Reducing food safety complaints will create a happier workplace and in turn increase productivity.
Numerous professionals nationwide have already earned and renewed their card with AAA Food Handler — a trusted name in food safety training.
The Massachusetts Food Handlers Card shows that you’ve completed food safety training and understand the basic workplace practices for handling food safely.
You’ll need to take an ANAB approved online Food Handler course, complete the training, and pass a 40-question final exam with a 70% or higher score. Once you pass, your card will be available to download and print immediately.
The course takes about 1.5 hours and is entirely self-paced. You can start, pause, and complete it whenever it works best for your schedule.
You’ll learn about safe food handling practices, proper hygiene, time and temperature controls, cross-contamination prevention, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and how to help prevent foodborne illness.
No problem, you’ll have two attempts to pass the final exam.
Your Food Handler Card is typically accepted for 3 years, but you should check with your employer or local health department to confirm the specific renewal timeframe in your area.
The course is 100% online and available 24/7. You can complete it on your phone, tablet, or computer whenever and wherever convenient.
The Food Handler training is in English and Spanish to support various food workers across Massachusetts.
The Food Handler Course is available in English and Spanish, making it accessible for various food service professionals.
Anyone who handles open food, food-contact surfaces, utensils, or equipment in a food service setting, including restaurants, cafeterias, food trucks, and grocery stores, should complete this training.

No review for you
This training was not painful at all. Each module was concise and highlighted information need. I appreciate reviews and quizzes provided at the end of each module. It allowed for information retention.
I would recommend this training to others.
Great training
Overall very pleased. short and straight to the point with very important information.
It was very easy to follow and take notes, spoken clearly
Presentation was out of order, clearly done by A.I. voice generation. However, it was worth what I paid for it.
satisfied with course.
Engaging, easy to follow along. Good, concise information.
Good course
MUY BUENAS INSTRUCCIONES
I really enjoyed the train. Straight forward and simple to absorb. I did not know it was women and minority owned, I was wondering how for the first time the images of the tutor “Maria” is minority. I think this fact that it is women and minority owned should be at the forefront before people even sign up. I am so happy I chose AAA! Wishing you luck and a lot more customers.
Great course. Thanks
I thought the training was very informative and useful, but the pacing seemed a bit inconsistent. Some parts seemed to give more detail than needed to understand the concepts such as the 3-bay sink dishwashing process or the handwashing process while others seemed to cram too much material into a short time span such as the biohazard section.
aprendi demaciado de cosas o situaciones que imaginava fue de mucho valor para mi me encanto

The course for RBS alcohol service was informative. Some of the questions on the review tests had mistakes that need to be review by company. Manageable and worth the time.
Only issue I had was in the Section 7 Review & Quiz where one of the questions didn’t have the correct answer available . The question regarding at what age could a person born Feb. 3, 2002 be able to purchase/drink alcohol. The correct answer would be Feb. 3, 2023, but that wasn’t one of the available answers. There was Feb 3, 2000, Feb. 3, 2020, and two Feb. 3, 2022 which makes the person 18, 19 or 20 years of age. This resulted in a missed question giving me a 95% instead of the 100% I should’ve received. Just thought you should be aware of this.

This is a good food handlers program. A lot of good information.
I found this training cumbersome and complicated.
Awesome
It would be a lot better if you weren’t forced to watch all 50 min of videos.
Training seems to be thorough and well paced. I guess we’ll see when the test is scored.
no
a lot of things that are good to know about becoming ill from how food places operate
Taking course with AAA is easy and accessible. It also give me time to study more because i can go back to the module for easy access of studying and reading
