* Wisconsin Small Operators DATCP Approved Program.  Small operators that have 5 or fewer food handlers that have a food manager that has already taken the full certification exam and is renewing within 90 days after the expiration date of their initial certified food manager credential may use the FoodSafety for Small Operators (Recertification) course to meet the requirement. Any food manager whose credential is not renewed within 90 days after the expiration date is required take and pass an approved ANSI accredited CFPM exam.

** Diamond Package – In order to qualify for the Free Retest, you must complete the ENTIRE online training and sample tests BEFORE taking the initial Food Manager exam. The 1 free retest must be taken within 6 months of not passing the first time. All other retests will be $69.95.

Certified Food Protection Managers are responsible for maintaining food safety logs, managing staff training, and preparing for unannounced inspections, helping ensure safe, efficient operations that meet Wisconsin standards.

Programs accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) meet national quality and testing standards. Without this accreditation, a certification may not be recognized by Wisconsin health departments.
