Oklahoma permits the sale of non-potentially hazardous foods such as baked goods, jams, jellies, dry mixes, honey, and candies. These items must be shelf-stable and not require refrigeration. High-risk foods like meats, dairy products, and cream-filled pastries are prohibited.
As of November 1, 2021, cottage food operations’ gross annual sales limit is $75,000. This applies to sales made directly to consumers within Oklahoma.
Yes, if you plan to sell time- or temperature-controlled-for-safety (TCS) homemade food products, you must complete a Food Handler certificate. This training ensures you understand safe food handling practices.
For non-TCS foods, food safety training is not required, but it’s still recommended to ensure safe food handling practices.

I love how everything was simple and to the point the rewind feature would me nice to go back and no have to star over each time
I wish you could back up the recording. You can pause, but if I wanted to hear something twice the only way is to play the whole thing over. The way my memory works is hearing things twice is helpful.
Very thorough and explained everything
Once I got started I couldn’t stop because this course was so informative and easy to navigate.
Love the presentation and speed used to ensure proper training and knowledge

This course was amazing!
It gave good points that made taking notes easy!
The way the program is set up you are able to work at your own pace – so no matter what time frame you are looking at you are able to accomplish the goals you have set forth!
Absolutely loved that they gave short quizzes after the sessions – which helped me to know areas I needed to spend more time studying before moving on.

I think questions should be straight forward using common sense. No need to words it to sound confusing. When you are on the job, you have to use your basic common sense to make quick decision to make your best judgement to prevent bad things from happening,
course was informative and well formatted.
OK A LITTLE BIT REPETITIVE
Software for phone provided slides that were extremely small font. Otherwise training was good.

The test was long but worth it when I passed in the end.
great easy to learn graphics
Excellent course!
good
Es largo pero hay que prestar atención pero se me hizo fácil y educativo
Excellent course with emphasis on important items
I found the AAA training through the Dept of ABC’s website, as AAA was a recommended vendor.
The training sessions seemed to be greatly outdated, with clunky graphics and awkward slide transitions. The platform doesn’t appear to have been updated since prior to 2023. It would be helpful if the platform would allow trainees to back up 15 seconds or so to review information, instead the module needs to start over.
When a question is answered incorrectly, the platform doesn’t explain what the correct answer is or why, it moves directly to the next question. This doesn’t allow for enhanced learning.
At one point, a slide was suddenly in Spanish, despite still clearly being in English mode.
The “narrator” routinely mispronounced words such as “conTRACTors” instead of contractors, “aTEEvan” instead of Ativan, and “OONaformaty” instead of uniformity. This was highly distracting and should be corrected.
i learned a lot
