The course gave specific examples of situations they were trying to explain. The course also used mostly videos to teach their concepts. This method made getting through the course quicker and less tiring.

Good content, poor design

August 1, 2023

The digitally constructed voice is quite dated and grating, and occasionally mispronounces things. The Closed Captions default to off for every video when they should be a general setting for the course. I get not letting people scrub ahead in the timecode, but at least let me scrub backward instead of restarting the video. The space bar should be play/pause, not restart, and clicking the screen should do the same thing when there isnt an interactive element. Also tell me how many questions I got right. And provide running times on each module, both on the dashboard and the videos, that include the time for each segment. The ‘next module’ button could use a keyboard shortcut or at least be bigger.
