Pennsylvania food managers must adhere to regulations modeled after the FDA Food Code, ensuring they maintain safe food handling, sanitation practices, and supervisory oversight in food establishments statewide.
In Pennsylvania, compliance is verified by requiring food establishments to employ Certified Food Protection Managers who have earned certification through an ANAB accredited program, following FDA Food Code principles.

Yes. Our Group Registration system allows business owners and managers to enroll multiple employees, track their training progress, monitor exam results, and manage certificates—all from one convenient dashboard.
In Pennsylvania, food establishments licensed by the state must have at least one staff member who holds a certified food protection manager (CFPM) credential. This certification is essential for demonstrating knowledge of proper food safety practices.
Exceptions apply to certain low-risk operations, such as those selling only sealed, prepackaged items—and some nonprofit organizations.
The certified manager doesn’t need to be present during all business hours but must be reachable at all times the facility is operating. Each certified individual may only be designated for one location.
To earn certification, candidates must pass an exam from an ANSI-CFP accredited program, like the one provided by AAA Food Handler.
It’s also important to know that several counties in Pennsylvania oversee their own food safety manager regulations. These include:
Allegheny County
Bucks County
Chester County
Montgomery County
Philadelphia County
State College Borough
If your business falls under one of these jurisdictions, be sure to consult the local health department to confirm accepted training providers and specific guidelines.

The lady’s that made this program did an amazing job. its very educational and would recommend this to other people.
This was helpful, informative and very useful
Excelente información para mi aprendizaje…gracias
Good
This was a fine course and gave me the information I needed to pass the exam. However, there were quite a few typos throughout and the voice was clearly AI and robotic. It wasn’t very engaging and I wish there had been more “practice questions” after each section.
This information should be shared with everyone. It will help keep people safe at home and in restaurants. Anyone eating or cooking should follow these procedures.
First of all, I can’t stand the automated voice. with thousands of people paying almost 10 dollars per card, you can pay a voice actor to do your course. Do not participate in the choking out of talented jobs.
Secondly, what’s with the spelling and grammar errors? I regret supporting this course but unfortunately I already have so you can keep my money.
It was educational

I love the time allocated for each module, It is short. Nice presentation.
Very informational but very long
was easy to understand
Easy to follow, well explain the training video
I thought it was going to be longer….I really Appreciate the Training…!!!
I took this course to become educated when it comes to food handling and found it very insighful.
It’s saying we should all change gloves every 4 hours between tasks. After doing dirty jobs with the gloves on or if the glove rips, we all wash our hands first and then put on new gloves. Not only that, I knew that chicken is supposed to be cooked at a higher temperature then beef, steak, and salmon. temperature danger zone, food cools down for more than 4 hours. Reheating is not gonna do ANYTHING. A crumb on the floor brings bugs and when there’s bugs, the foods are being contaminated again and it’s biological hazard. When we wash hands 20, turn off the faucet with your elbow or turn off the faucet with the paper towel and then air dry and use your feet to kick open the push door or use the paper towel to pull the door open. Chicken, beef, fish, and salmon should be WAY WAY below the ready to eat foods. COMPLETELY AT THE BOTTOM. Food should be stored 6 in off the ground. Everything in this world have germs, Your phone has germs, Cash has germs, anything. I can’t describe which thing has the most germs. We can do all to prevent it from spreading. No matter how delicious it looks, if you eat food from the floor, it’s biological hazard. So I learned 65% of it
This class was very helpful in preparing me to open up my business. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning on opening up a business in food or bev. They modules are easy to follow and the course makes it easy to leave and pick up where you left off if you are are busy person!

I thought this training was super informative and well-structured. It covered everything at a good talking pace as well. Most trainings can be super slow so I appreciated that.
